Ander Crenshaw Vows 'Fight is Far From Over' on Obama's Deal With Iran
Getting ready for a series of votes on President Barack Obama‘s deal with Iran over its nuclear program, U.S. Rep. Ander Crenshaw, R-Fla. made the case against the agreement.
“This is a bad deal - plain and simple, and I oppose it one-hundred-percent,” Crenshaw said.“Handing billions of dollars in sanctions relief to Iran - the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism - with no requirement that it fully dismantle its nuclear weapon technology makes no sense whatsoever. Moreover, the Administration must come clean and present every single detail of the agreement’s secret side deals.
“The stakes have never been higher, and the dangers have never been greater,” Crenshaw added. “Ask those who know Iran the best. Iran has been a threat to the people of the Middle East for a long time. Israel and our other allies in the region need guarantees of safety and support, not the risk of further instability and violence there and around the world.
“My bottom line is to protect America’s national security and that of our allies from an agreement that does nothing to deliver the safety, stability, and security that the world deserves,” Crenshaw said in conclusion. “Make no mistake; this fight is far from over. I will continue to do everything in my power to stop the president’s agreement in its tracks and hold him accountable.”
