Ander Crenshaw Remains Chair of FSGG Appropriations Subcommittee
U.S. Rep. Ander Crenshaw, R-Fla., retained his chairmanship of the Financial Services and General Government (FSGG) Appropriations Subcommittee on Wednesday. U.S. House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers, R-Ky., also placed Crenshaw back on the Defense and State and Foreign Operations Appropriations Subcommittees.
Families and businesses across America make tough financial decisions each day and expect Congress to do the same, Crenshaw said on Wednesday. In the 114th Congress, House members will debate and vote on a wide range of issues that will determine the way forward for our nation for generations to come.
As I work with Chairman Rogers and subcommittee colleagues in the months ahead, my focus will be on achieving clearly-defined and thoroughly-analyzed policy that builds fiscal responsibility, protects national security, and utilizes foreign aid in an effective and streamlined manner, Crenshaw added.
Crenshaw said he would continue to fight to keep the IRS in check and would ensure that the First Coast retains an important role in national defense.
