Ander Crenshaw to Keynote Florida Defense Expo in Jacksonville
U.S. Rep. Ander Crenshaw, R-Fla., said on Monday he would offer the keynote address at the Florida Defense Expo in Jacksonville on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
Crenshaw, who sits on the House Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, offered a preview of his speech.
“The Prime Osborn will be the setting on November 10 for a proud story to be told by Florida’s defense industrial base,” Crenshaw said. “These are the companies that equip our men and women in uniform, keep our military in top working order, and contribute millions of dollars to the economy. Engineering, research and development, construction, and manufacturing firms of all sizes will be gathered under one roof to feature their products and work.
“What a great opportunity for everyone to come out and learn more about how these businesses keep our nation strong. I strongly encourage folks to attend,” he added.
“I’ll be on hand to outline my work in Congress to support our national security and the companies so central to that mission and why we need to keep the defense industrial base strong,” Crenshaw continued. “These firms rank among the world’s best, and I thank the Florida Defense Contractors Association for organizing another great event.”
