And Then There Were 10: Ron Paul to Speak at CPAC in Orlando
U.S. Rep. Ron Paul has joined a growing list of presidential candidates who will speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando on Sept. 23.
Al Cardenas, chairman of the host American Conservative Union, called the Texas congressman, a previous winner of CPAC straw polls, "a leading voice for adhering to a limited constitutional government. His consistent voting record and unwavering commitment to his principles have earned Congressman Paul a strong and loyal grassroots base.
CPAC's first-ever regional conference will be held at the Orange County Convention Center amid the RPOF's three-day Presidency 5 summit.
Other GOP presidential hopefuls confirmed as CPAC speakers are Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Jon Huntsman, Gary Johnson and Thaddeus McCotter.
Paul, Huntsman and Cain said they also will participate in the P5 straw poll on Sept. 24.
