Amtrak: Florida Must Provide Liability if Passengers Ride FEC Tracks

Amtrak wants Florida to provide some liability protection before returning passenger rail service to the Florida East Coast railroad tracks, TCPalm.com reports.
Amtrak officials said Thursday they still need some kind of liability protection from the state of Florida, in case of derailing or other accidents on state-owned track in South Florida, before the company will bring passenger service back to Florida's east coast, TCPalm.com reported.
