The Florida Chamber of Commerce Political Institute released a poll of likely voters on Thursday which shows Amendment 2, which would expand medical marijuana use in the Sunshine State, falling short of the 60 percent threshold it needs to pass. The Florida Chamber opposes Amendment 2.
The poll, taken by Cherry Communications, finds 55 percent of likely voters back Amendment 2 but 40 percent oppose it.
The poll of 508 likely voters was taken from Oct. 27-29 and had a margin of error of +/- 4 percent.
