Allen West Keeps Open a Return to Campaign Politics

U.S. Rep. Allen West, R-Palm Beach Gardens, as he thanked supporters in Stuart this week, said he may return to politics.

West, who is rumored to next enter the world of television correspondent or author, after the lengthy and expensive contest with Democrat Patrick Murphy, left the door open about his political future.

"That's not for now. Now is to show appreciation for all these folks that did so much," West said, according to Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers. "That's between my wife and I and God as far as where we're going to go. Folks have to understand that God orders your steps, not man, and better doors are going to open."
