Allen West Bashes Health Care Law Delay, Rips Obama's 'Socialist Agenda'

Former Congressman Allen West, a favorite of the tea party movement, ripped into the Obama administration on Tuesday after news broke that the White House was planning to delay implementing its federal health care law again.

Thanks to the New York Times, we find out about another unilateral delay decision by the Obama administration on the Affordable Care Act -- the mandatory caps on out-of-pocket costs to individuals, West posted on Facebook on Tuesday. This follows the unilateral decision to delay the employer mandate for medium and large businesses. As well, this comes on the heels of Americans finding out that members of Congress and staff have a special exemption and will be receiving taxpayer-funded subsidies.

My last reading of our Constitution and the system of checks and balances states the executive branch executes the laws passed by the legislative branch, West continued. But it seems the esteemed constitutional scholar Barack Obama interpreted it differently. I agree with Senator Rand Paul, 'The president doesn't get to write legislation, and it's illegal and unconstitutional for him to try and change legislation by himself. And we know why -- to favor his cronies and fit his progressive socialist agenda. We had to pass the bill in order to find out what is in it. How 'bout we just delay the implementation instead of this cherry-picking crap.
