
All Aboard Florida Expands Operations With Archer Western
All Aboard Florida (AAF) will be working with Archer Western focusing on the Orlando International Airport, part of its efforts to build high speed connecting Orlando to Miami. On Wednesday, AAF announced the agreement which will created 75 new jobs and “hundreds of additional opportunities for subcontractors and suppliers” Archer Western is already responsible for working on the AAF line between West Palm Beach and Miami.
“Archer Western has a strong record of performance and is well known for its commitment to excellence and safety,” said Mike Reininger, AAF president. “The company’s expertise and qualifications will be invaluable to us as we partner with GOAA to bring passenger-rail service to Orlando.”
“All Aboard Florida is already reshaping the future of Florida transportation,” said Daniel Walsh, the president of Archer Western, “We are pleased to be on this journey with them.”
