Alex Sink vs. Rick Scott: Costliest Governor's Race in Florida History

Yahoo! News calls Florida's gubernatorial race the costliest of all time in the Sunshine State. And why not, with millionaire Rick Scott, the Republican, in the contest. Have a look at the story.
Florida is one of nine states in which the gubernatorial race is classified as a tossup by political analysts, including Real Clear Politics, Congressional Quarterly, and the Cook Political Report, Yahoo! claims. Democratic candidate Alex Sink, the state's chief financial officer, would become the first female governor of Florida, if elected. Republican candidate Rick Scott is a self-funded prospective newcomer to political office whose background is in the health care industry.
