Alex Sink Goes to Bat for Bill Nelson

Former state CFO Alex Sink, the Democrat who came up short against Rick Scott in the 2010 gubernatorial election, is going to bat for U.S. Sen. Bill Nelsons, D-FL, bid for a third term in the Senate. According to an email that she sent out to supporters over the weekend, Sink is sharing her email list with Nelson and intends to help his campaign.

Bill is gearing up for a tough fight of his own. He's running for re-election to the U.S. Senate, while Karl Rove, the Koch Brothers, Sheldon Adelson, and many shadowy right-wing front groups are spending millions of dollars to try to defeat him, Sink wrote. We can't let them win.
I'm going to do everything I can to make sure Bill Nelson comes out on top this November.

Sink informed her supporters that they were going to get updates from Nelson unless they choose to opt out.

Theres buzz that Sink could seek a rematch with Scott in 2014 and look for it to increase if she is highly visible in Nelsons bid for another term.
