Alex Sink Gets $1,000 from Charlie Crist After Calling Him a 'Disaster'

Former Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink might have called former Gov. Charlie Crist a "disaster," but that didn't stop the gubernatorial hopeful from donating $1,000 to Sink's campaign.

According to The Tampa Bay Times, Crist gave $1,000 to Sink for her U.S. House race to replace the late C.W. Bill Young, helping her reach $1.1 million for her campaign.

In an interview with the Times in June of last year, Sink seemed "revolted by the prospect of Crist as the Democratic nominee. 'A disaster' is how she described the possibility."
