Al Cardenas: Conservative Group Creates ‘Baroness Margaret Thatcher CPAC Scholarship Fund’

Honoring the life of Britains Iron Lady, the American Conservative Union has created a scholarship for female conservatives.
Al Cardenas, chairman of ACU, said, We at the American Conservative Union mourn the death of Baroness Margaret Thatcher. Against all odds, Baroness Thatcher stood for the courage of her convictions and set her nation on a path to economic prosperity and, with her friend President Ronald Reagan, lit the torch of freedom that shone through even the darkest days of communism -- tearing down the Iron Curtain and declaring victory in the Cold War.
Let her life be an inspiration to our current and future leaders so that they may pick up this torch ensuring that future generations may live in prosperity, peace and freedom.
ACU, the host organization of the Conservative Political Action Conference, will remember the prime minister with the Baroness Margaret Thatcher CPAC Scholarship Fund, which will be bestowed each year on a young, female conservative who will receive complimentary three-day VIP registration at CPAC, starting next year.
