Adam Putnam Showcases Christmas Trees From Florida

Presenting Christmas trees to his fellow state Cabinet officers, Florida Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam urged Floridians to buy a tree from the Sunshine State.

“It’s a pleasure to present these beautiful Florida-grown Christmas trees to the governor and my fellow Cabinet members, officially kicking off the Christmas season at Florida’s Capitol,” Putnam said on Tuesday. “When families are preparing for this Christmas season, remember you can get a ‘Fresh From Florida’ Christmas tree grown right here in our great state.”

Florida has more than 100 Christmas tree farms with more than 16,000 trees.
