Adam Putnam to Plant Citrus Tree in LEGOLAND

Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam will plant a citrus tree to officially open the Fresh From Florida Greenhouse exhibit in the LEGOLAND family theme park on March 29, the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services reported Thursday.

At the Greenhouse, visitors will follow Florida commodities through the six stages of production to learn where their food comes from, why natural resources -- like water and nutrients -- are essential to crops and how animals -- like cows and bees -- play a role in providing foods served at tables across the nation, the release stated.

LEGOLAND is in Winter Haven.
