Adam Putnam has $1.3 Million in the Bank
U.S. Rep. Adam Putnam, the Republican candidate for Floridas next commissioner of agriculture and consumer services, announced he brought in more than $205,000 in the second quarter of 2010. While the Putnam team did not say how much of the second quarter was in-kind donations, Putnam has assembled an impressive war chest -- with more than $1.3 million on hand.
Since I filed to run in February of last year, I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of financial support our campaign has received, and I am even more excited at the ever-expanding grass-roots network our campaign has built, said Putnam. We continue to hit our milestones as we enter the home stretch to the November election. It is clear that Floridians are supporting our positive message and our vision for the future of agriculture and consumer protection in Florida. This support is anchored by experience, hard work and an understanding of the importance this $100-billion-dollar industry provides to our economy. There is much yet to be done, and I am confident that with our volunteers, donors and supporters we will be successful."
