Adam Putnam Getting Support from Florida's Mayors

U.S. Rep. Adam Putnam, the Republican candidate in the commissioner for agriculture and consumer services race, unveiled the endorsements of 34 mayors on Tuesday.

From rural communities to urban cities, Adam Putnam recognizes the needs and opportunities that Floridians face from Miami to Milton, said Mayor Tomas Regaldo of Miami. We are confident in his ability to serve each Floridian in making decisions that will keep our state working, growing and moving in the right direction.

Florida is unique in that it encompasses small rural towns, large urban cities and a range of populations in between, said Putnam. The level of support we have received from city leaders throughout the state is a direct indication of Floridians taking notice of the issues surrounding this office and the need to elect someone who can represent all Florida residents. I am thankful to have earned the support of these leaders and look forward to working with them to protect the interests of all Floridians.

Other mayors who endorsed Putnam included Randy Henderson Jr. of Fort Myers, Gow Fields of Lakeland and Mike Wiggins of Pensacola.
