Adam Putnam Backs Aaron Bean's State Senate Bid

Florida Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam is the second member of the state Cabinet to back the state Senate bid of former Rep. Aaron Bean. State CFO Jeff Atwater has already backed Bean who is running for a state Senate seat based in parts of Duval and Nassau counties.

I support Aaron Bean in his race for the Florida Senate, Putnam said in a statement on Wednesday.We need a strong conservative from Northeast Florida in the Senate who will focus on creating jobs and getting our states economy back on track. As a small-business man, Aaron understands firsthand the trials and tribulations that business owners go through on a daily basis to keep their doors open and keep our states work force going.

I thank Commissioner Putnam for believing in me and my campaign for Senate District 4, said Bean.If I am honored to receive the votes of my community, I will continue to stand up for businesses and be a loud voice for our delegation and the continued priorities of our community.
