Adam Hasner Says Bill Nelson More Vulnerable than Obama in Florida
Former state House Majority Leader Adam Hasner says U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson is more vulnerable in Florida than President Barack Obama.
When you look at the Space Coast, these are people who have relied on Bill Nelson for years, in his representation to support the space program, to support that region. Every time I campaigned there they are truly disappointed, said Hasner after claiming victory Friday in the straw poll at the American Conservative Unions (ACU) Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) event in Orlando.
There are people in North Florida who thought Bill Nelson was one of them. Theyre finding out now, by looking at his voting record, he is not.
Hasner topped the GOP's four-way straw pollfield with 34 percent of the vote.
A Quinnipiac University poll released this week had the incumbent senator at 44 percent against a generic Republican.
