Adam Hasner Releases Web Video on Why He's Running for Senate

Former state House Majority Leader Adam Hasner, now running in the crowded Republican primary to take on Democratic incumbent U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson in 2012, unveiled the second in a series of Web videos -- this one focusing on why he chose to enter the race.

In our newest video, I talk about my decision to run for U.S. Senate and why I believe America is at a critical crossroads and in desperate need of conservative reinforcements, Hasner wrote supporters on Wednesday. It is my hope that these videos provide us with another opportunity to share in a candid, unscripted conversation about the important issues facing America, and my principled, conservative approach to solving them.

Together, we can make a real difference in the kind of government we have in Washington, and the kind of country we leave to future generations, Hasner added.
