
3 Tallahassee Greenberg Traurig Attorneys Recognized in 2016 Chambers USA Guide
International law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP announced Tuesday that Michael J. Cherniga, Fred E. Karlinsky and Barry Richard of the firm’s Tallahassee office have been recognized in the 2016 Chambers USA Guide.
According to its website, Chambers and Partners, publisher of annual guides in several global markets, selects attorneys and practice areas for inclusion based on thousands of interviews with practicing lawyers and clients around the world. In the USA Guide, attorneys and practice areas are ranked by placement in “bands,” with Band 1 being the highest placement. Attorneys can also be designated as a “Star Individual,” “Eminent Practitioner,” “Senior Statesman,” “Up and Coming,” “Star Associate,” or “Associate to Watch” by market and practice.
Richard, a Tallahassee shareholder in the firm’s Litigation and Appellate practices, was recognized as a “Senior Statesman.” He has been listed in the guide since 2003 and has been
ranked a "Senior Statesman" since 2014.
Cherniga is co-chair of the firm’s Health & FDA Business Practice and a Tallahassee shareholder. He has been listed in the guide since 2009.
Karlinsky is co-chair of the firm’s Insurance Regulatory & Transactions Practice and a Tallahassee shareholder. He has been listed in the guide since 2011.
Statewide, Greenberg Traurig had 53 Florida attorneys and 12 Florida practices included in the guide.
