Wednesdays debate between Gov. Rick Scott and former Gov. Charlie Crist may have been held in Davie, but the real debate discussion with full color commentary took place on Twitter.
Events like Wednesdays debate are infinitely more entertaining with the 140-character tweets from reporters, political insiders and sometimes even just regular Floridians. Some are serious reflections on the issues, while others are biting assessments on politicians. And some of them, well, theyre just plain hilarious.
Sunshine State News followed thousands of tweets throughout the night over the course of a few hours before and after the debate. We found lots of gems nestled in the Twitterverse and narrowed them down to 10. Here are some highlights:
