'Climate Hustle' Movie Debunks Liberals' Climate Change Argument

April 28, 2016 - 9:30pm

If you want a look at the side of the climate change argument liberals belligerently dismiss, have a look at "Climate Hustle," a new film that debunks the "climate scare." It's playing at a theater near you, in fact at 36 movie locations up and down Florida -- but for now anyway, you'll have only one shot -- a special showing at 7 p.m. Monday, May 2.

"Climate Hustle" has been touted by the National Review as "brutal and extremely funny." Cal Thomas called it "tremendous," and Breitbart News proclaimed the film "dynamite." It has also been widely discussed by conservative talk show hosts on radio and TV.

So much of what the left claims as "settled science" is flat out wrong, the film claims. CFACT -- Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow -- the folks who educate the world about global warming with their "Climate Depot" news service have produced the movie they believe will open eyes and minds, lay out the scientific facts and keep us laughing while they do it.

Scorching temperatures. Melting ice caps. Killer hurricanes and tornadoes. Disappearing polar bears, says the films promo. The end of civilization as we know it. That's the climate change message from the left. Are emissions from our cars, factories, and farms causing catastrophic climate change? Is there a genuine scientific consensus? Or is man-made "global warming" an overheated, environmental con job used to push for increased government regulations and a new "green" energy agenda?

"Climate Hustle" was made to answer these questions and many, many more. Produced by CFACT and CDR Communications in the one-of-a-kind entertaining and informative style that has made CFACT's award-winning ClimateDepot.com such a reliable source for hard-to-find facts about climate issues, this groundbreaking film, say its markers, "tears the cover off of global warming hype, and exposes the myths and exaggerations of this multi-billion dollar issue."

"Climate Hustle" is hosted by award-winning investigative journalist Marc Morano. It reveals the history of climate scares including global cooling; debunks outrageous claims about temperatures, extreme weather, and the so-called "consensus;" exposes the increasingly shrill calls to "act immediately before it's too late," and in perhaps the film's most important section, profiles key scientists who used to believe in climate alarm but have since converted to skepticism.

Morano talks to more than a dozen climatologists, a bevy of scientists, meteorologists, a couple of Nobel winners, all the while interspersing archival footage that will shock and infuriate you.

The film hasn't hit the theaters yet, but already the press is working overtime to debunk its narrative, says Climatedepot.com.

Following the showing, an exclusive panel discussion will include Gov. Sarah Palin, climatologist Dr. David Legates, media watchdog Brent Bozell, film host Marc Morano, and comments from Bill Nye "the Science Guy."

Says Adam Houser, national field coordinator for CFact, "If you're as tired as I am of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and the rest using global warming as an excuse for left-wing policies designed to tax and control us into submission, you'll want to be part of this historic night."

The movie's producer CFACT was founded in 1985 to promote a much-needed, positive alternative voice on issues of environment and development. Its co-founders, David Rothbard and Craig Rucker, strongly believed the power of the market combined with the applications of safe technologies could offer humanity practical solutions to many of the world’s most pressing concerns. A number of leading scientists, academics, and policy leaders soon joined them, along with thousands of citizens from around the U.S. and around the world.

Kevin, it's obvious that you are in denial of the truth . Although you cannot be held to blame for your ignorance , our government and people like Al Gore, George Soros and their ilk are promoting a media blitz of epic proportions in order to accumulate more wealth, which leads to more power. Try reading something besides the mainstream sources, open your eyes, open your mind, I did . It looks a whole lot different when you stand to the side ! Now, air pollution IS bad and should be addressed, just don't eat up everything you're fed on global warming .

See the movie The Age of Stupid. It may give some conservatives a dose of reality and perspective. But somehow I doubt it....too much benzene in their water tables? I don't think the elevator reaches the top floor anymore. Living in a fact free conservative bubble is akin to being delusional.

I do not understand why that conservatives in the U.S. are so intent on debunking the consensus that almost all thoughtful scientists are coming to today. Maybe they have no education about natural systems and the fragile interconnectedness of nature. I would think that concern for future generations would come into play. And indeed most thoughtful conservatives I know are not trying so desperately to debunk good science. I get tired of the name calling and tirades by people that obviously do not have a clue what global warming is or the dire consequences of even small rapid shifts in global temperature. Educated people of good sense and conscience of all political persuasions need to voice their thoughts. There can be great disagreement about the appropriate response to these global issues but to continue to deny in the face of reality is uneducated and foolish.

Catherine, I think they have drank too much leaded water and pollutants. They don't understand the science because they are incapable of understanding the science. Thankfully, the world has not waited for the flat earthers to catch up and is moving ahead to save humanity from itself.

i guess you really do need to see the movie, catherine the fact is that man is responsible for only 2% of carbon emissions and the efforts to correlate co2 levels with global temperatures have failed miserably

I guess you really need to take a basic science course, because nothing you've said is remotely accurate.

Yes, yes, you must be right . . . . . . the fact that atmospheric carbon dioxide levels over the past 400,000 years appear to have never been above 300 ppm . . . UNTIL the Industrial Revolution . . . . and the fact that today levels are above 400 ppm for the first time for maybe the past 20 million years has NOTHING to do with man's activities, correct . . . . . . . . . . . . maybe you'd like to address the probability of those events occurring during man's brief industrialization and population explosion over the past 300 years . . . . . . . gut-based truthiness (in the face of actual science) . . . . . . PATHETIC . . . . .

Talk about deny, deny deny. All you man made global warming enthusiasts want to do is ignore the fact that the Earth has always had changes in climate, naturally . This whole thing is a huge scam to control and tax the masses . Follow the money. Who is benefiting from all of the carbon credits being sold ?

Are you honestly this stupid??

Apparently you are either blind or chose to ignore any data that counters the man-made global warming promoters . Name calling doesn't make you right, all you have to do is read something besides the official propaganda being spewed out by the globalist echo chamber. Their "experts" rehears the "party" line , go on "news" programs and repeat this mish-mash of propaganda over and over. The next thing you know, it's a "fact" to be repeated by another "expert" . Wake up ! It's about mind control, money and power .

Yes the earth has had climate changes but my question to you is do you know why these changes happen? What has caused these warming periods in the past? The issue that I tend to see is when people fail to ask why? simply accepting the fact that climate change happens "just because it does", is like asking your doctor why you got lung cancer and him responding "because it happens to people all the time". Global warming does happen but take some time to research why it happens, it might open your eyes a little. No need for name calling all I ask is to simply be objective in your research and continue to question any response from both sides until every question is answered.

Liberals will NEVER "Get it"; they're WAY TOO STUPID and filled with the kool-ade and hogwash "dished out" by "Hollywood pseudo-intellectuals" who are EVEN more sheltered and stupid then they are. You're right LibTards: Go "run with the wolves", "live with the wolves" and "pet the polar bears" (And don't forget to pin those little silver bells on your jacket). And HURRY UP before the "climate" melts the polar ice cap and raises the seas, so you can get home in time to watch "Housewives of WTF"... (and ALL in your lifetime too...) FOOLS ! [ Sometimes I'm ashamed to be a Democrat...]

Are you seriously this ignorant or do you work for a fossil fuel corp?

Gee . . . . . . . nothing like total denial in the face of abundant, overwhelming evidence (perhaps you just can't understand the science) . . . . . . . . . all you know how to do is scream and shout, hoping someone will listen to your no-facts truthiness claims . . . . . . . . . often demonstrated uneducated ignorance is just so sad . . . . . . . . and . . . . . . PATHETIC . . . . .

Yes, yes, once again Nancy Smith must be right -->" Movie Debunks Liberals' Climate Change Argument" . . . . . . . which is exactly why she should be listening to the CONSERVATIVE GOP experts out there on this issue . . . . you know, like conservative GOP EPA Directors under Reagan, Nixon and the Bushes . . . . . . . . I mean, it's not like four previous REPUBLICAN EPA administrators just recently gave testimony before Congress that climate change is real, man-made, and critical for the US to address, now is it: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . WILLIAM RUCKELHAUS (Nixon, Reagan) - "Several months ago, after talking with one another, the four former EPA administrators sitting in front of you found we were convinced by the overwhelming verdict of scientists that the earth was warming and that we humans were the only controllable contributor to this phenomenon . . . We all feel strongly that something should be done (about climate change) and we should get on with this . . . The IPCC report validates in the strongest terms the science of climate change and the projected impacts . . . We believe there is legitimate scientific debate over the pace and effects of climate change but no legitimate debate over the fact of the earth's warming or over man's contribution . . .This is an extremely complex problem whose solutions are not straightforward. We believe this is no excuse for complacency or not stepping up to our responsibility." LEE THOMAS (Ronald Reagan) - "We know that communities in our country are already dealing with the effects of the changing climate today. In my state of Florida, we see increasing salt water intrusion infiltrating our drinking water supply due to sea level rise. Coastal communities are dealing with the impact sea level rise is having on their drainage systems, resulting in an investment of more than $300 million to upgrade flood mitigation infrastructure in Miami Beach alone. The economic impact is undeniable, and local governments struggle to address today’s impacts of climate change while trying to anticipate the increased risk it poses in the future . . . We know there are many approaches that can be taken, and all are controversial . . . (EPA's recent moves) once again position the U.S. to demonstrate international leadership." WILLIAM REILLY (George H. W. Bush) - "While the President has taken many important steps, a full and constructive response is needed from Congress . . . The longer we delay, the more adverse the impacts will be, and the more expensive to address them . . . not only is climate change likely to affect natural resources and public health, but it will have profound effects on our economy." CHRISTINE TODD WHITMAN (George W. Bush) - "We have a scientific consensus around this issue. We also need a political consensus . . . The issue has been settled. EPA does have the authority (to regulate carbon omissions). The law says so and the Supreme Court has said so twice. The matter should be put to rest." . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Yes, yes, Nancy and SSN . . .once again, living in the 1950's . . . . in flat denial of science and reality . . . and blaming Liberals (and apparently their own GOP administrators/scientists for another inconvenient truth) . . . . . . PATHETIC . . . .

Marc Morano, a slick denier of science, is a fast talker, and the darling of oil and coal companies who want to hide the damage caused by their products. But you really should stick with the experts like NASA if you want to learn the facts.

If Sarah Palin is one of the authorities who debunk climate change, then it is obvious that the facts presented in this film are absurd hogwash. Interesting that 160 countries came together in Paris to address this issue that 97 percent of the scientific community knows to be real and factual, yet the money of the fossil fuel industry continues to debunk well established facts

Truly pitiful. Reality is pretty much the opposite of conservo bizarre world.

yes, it is pitiful to watch a group of loud delusional people deny reality because they can't deal with it mentally. Reality scares the beJesus out of them.
