The "First Thanksgiving" didn't include any "Pilgrims". It took place in 1565 in St. Augustine and involved Spanish settlers and Timucuan native Americans. By the time the Pilgrims in New England were getting around to celebrating their 'thanksgiving', St. Augustine was in the midst of urban renewal and Spanish was the common language!
