A new poll shows U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Fla., has the edge on U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy, D-Fla., in the Democratic primary to replace U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., in the U.S. Senate but more than half of Florida Democrats are undecided.

Public Policy Polling (PPP), which has ties to Democrats, released a poll on Tuesday which shows 55 percent of Florida Democrats are not sure who they want as their Senate candidate.

Grayson, who is currently facing a U.S. House Ethics Committee investigation due to his role as a hedge fund manager and who endorsed U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., for president earlier this week, takes 33 percent. Murphy gets 22 percent.

The poll shows a majority of Florida Democrats are not sure about both congressmen. Grayson is seen as favorable by 21 percent while the same percentage view him in an unfavorable light and 58 percent are not sure of him. Murphy is even less known with 63 percent of Florida Democrats not sure about him while 21 percent see him favorably and 16 percent view him in an unfavorable light.

PPP did not include Navy veteran and attorney Pam Keith and life coach Lateresa Jones, both of whom are running for the Democratic nomination, in the poll.

The poll of 388 likely Florida Democratic primary voters was taken from Feb. 24-Feb. 25 and had a margin of error of +/- 5 percent.
