With twenty Democratic presidential candidates getting ready to square off in two debates in Miami later this month, a new poll shows former Vice President Joe Biden starts off ahead of the large pack of primary candidates in Florida.

Quinnipiac University released a poll on Tuesday looking at the Democratic presidential primary in Florida which shows Biden out front with 41 percent as the crowded field starts the long march to the primary on March 17. U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., places second with 14 percent and U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., right behind him with 12 percent.

"Vice President Biden is the big winner in this poll. He leads the Democratic pack by a considerable margin,” said Peter Brown, the assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll. "Biden's 41 percent share of the Democratic primary vote is three times that of the second place contender, Sen. Sanders."

No other candidate breaks double digits. South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg places fourth with 8 percent followed by U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., with 6 percent.

Other candidates are even further behind as U.S. Sen. Cory Booker, D-NJ, U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., and former U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke, D-Tex., each take 1 percent.

Sixteen other Democratic hopefuls--U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet of Colorado. Gov. Steve Bullock of Montana, former U.S. HHS Sec. Julian Castro,  New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, former U.S. Rep. John Delaney of Maryland, U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, U.S. Sen. Kirstin Gillibrand of New York, former U.S. Sen. Mike Gravel of Alaska, former Gov. John Hickenlooper of Colorado,  Gov. Jay Inslee of Washington, Miramar Mayor Wayne Messam, U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton of Massachusetts, U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan of Ohio, U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell of California, writer Marianne Williamson and businessman Andrew Yang--each pull less than one-half of one percent.

The poll of 417 registered Democrats in Florida was taken from June 12 through June 17 and had a margin of error of +/- 5.8 percent.

Say hello to your next President!

Biden is the front runner because the others are either so goofy and far out there in left field, or have so little recognition they haven’t even created a ripple in the polls. Dems know Biden, may not love him but they realize that Bernie doesn’t have a chance, never had a chance and Warren can’t even warm up an ice cube.

Who among us will come forth to lead this world? A true leader, to bring Justice to this world.

Quinnipiac has already LONG AGO proven itself a failure at the "polling business"; along with EVERY OTHER "college polling exercise" ( where "wishing" is considered 'polling data'... eh, Hillary?!?) !!!

With all due respect, who would you vote for? Do you see a viable leader?

THIS Democrat will vote for Trump AGAIN ! I am from a family of old fashioned Democrats, when the Democrat Party was comprised of MANY "Statesmen", who put America FIRST (and weren't "on the edge of socialism AND "surrendering" America to Illegal Alien Invaders who are "milking America to death"...) Without "change" (and left in the hands of "todays" Democrats), the next historically inevitable step appears to be revolutionary...

this fat fool is no Democrat, and no Floridian either. He is a tubby, unemployed R-imposter from NY. Haul *** back to NY tiny and get a job...

You do realize that as an old fashioned Democrat you are voting for a Republican. Why did you post such a confusing direction, is it because you feel that too many needy are holding their hands out for government assistance? Do you feel that somehow the ones who live ivory castles will look down on you and will repay you for your unquestionable loyalty? I don't agree with your conclusion that the next election will be revolutionary. Too many people have donned the stripes of democrat or republican, left or right, when in reality they are ordinary people who have been easily misled. Again I ask you, do you see a viable leader for the United States.

Anybody but the Democrat front runner.

"SSN" does humor now????? Well, we already know that Mayor Willie Brown will vote for Kamala Harris...It's a known fact they were very, very close in Calif...

Is that a hard fact, or just soft humor?

Hard fact ! Do some research.

I did first hand research and I concur.

All Joe managed at his announcement if his candidacy was less than 100 in PA and he is doing less every day at every meeting meeting Trump is going to have slightly more people tonight and you foolish press keep churning out Fake News like this in an attempt to suppress the vote Fools I notice no none was prepared to put their name on this and to own this junk

This is hilarious, another poll., and yet another poll, and still another poll...

ABT = Anybody But Trump! Go, Joe! Go Lizzie!, Go, Bernie! Go, Pete! Go, Kammy! Go, Cory! ANYBODY BUT TRUMP!

SBD = Sick Berserk Democrat. SBD also refers to gasbag Democrats in general.
