Democrats Called Voters and Told Them to Break the Law: Can We Finally Say 'Fraud'?

November 15, 2018 - 6:00am

Conspiracy theories are bad, but conspiracies are worse.

How is it that so many left-leaning shills are crying foul over Rick Scott's suspicion that the 2018 Florida election is dripping in fraud?

What else should Scott or any other honest citizen call it when he finds a Democratic Party volunteer telling voters to correct their rejected mail-in absentee ballots while recounts were being conducted? That's a deliberate violation of the law.

Which is fraud in my book.

The report from POLITICO Florida and reporter Matt Dixon comes after the Department of State revealed it discovered election officials in four counties, including Broward, the bluest bastion of Democratic dynamism, illegally changed the date on mail-in-ballot-correction forms. That one action granted voters more time to fix their rejected absentee ballots than is allowed by law.

The so-called “cure affidavits” were supposed to be due no later than 5 p.m. Nov. 5, the day before the election, but the forms were changed to indicate they were due back by 5 p.m. on Thursday -- two days after the election. Department of State officials have referred the incident to the Department of Justice for investigation. And so they should.

“Altering a form in a manner that provides the incorrect date for a voter to cure a defect ... imposes a burden on the voter significant enough to frustrate the voter’s ability to vote,” Florida Department of State interim general counsel Bradley McVay wrote in a letter sent to federal prosecutors on Nov. 9 and released publicly on Tuesday.

In an email chain released with the Nov. 9 letter, Citrus County Supervisor of Elections Susan Gill said a voter who received an illegally modified “cure affidavit” also received a call from the office of the Florida Democratic Party, indicating party volunteers were calling voters to correct rejected mail-in ballots.

Broward County, meanwhile, is like a rolling crime wave.

Boxes of ballots magically show up in the trunks of rental cars at Fort Lauderdale International Airport -- cars last rented by Democratic operatives. The National Review's Kevin D. Williamson asks, "What is this, a Coen Brothers movie? At least Saddam Hussein had the good taste to be amusing when he was stuffing the ballot boxes."

Williamson talks more about Snipes. "That voting fraud that our Democratic friends insist never happens happens quite a lot under Snipes’s watch," he reports. "She has allowed disenfranchised felons and illegal aliens to vote; sent out mail-in ballots in which a proposed constitutional amendment was simply omitted; secretly opened ballots to thwart oversight. Her team doesn’t seem to be able to add up votes very quick -- except when they add them up too quickly: In one truly banana-republic shenanigan, her office posted a final vote tally while the polls were still open."

Have a look at Scott's complaint against Snipes. It tells a lot of it.

Recounts in the Florida gubernatorial and Senate races began Saturday and must conclude by 3 p.m. Thursday or else initial vote counts will be used to determine the contests. That's the law unless a federal judge rules no it isn't.

In this election there's been gross negligence that arises out of incompetence. But there's also been pre-meditated, underhanded, law-scoffing fraud. Rick Scott and the Republican Party have every right to suspect the Democrats in South Florida are trying to steal the election.

All of this is really very simple. If a Republican wants a job done right, he has to do it himself. Otherwise a democrat will apply their work ethic, morals, and emotion and out comes examples such as the Democratic Supervisors of Elections, healthcare industry, federal government, local government, etc...It's the culture of the democratic party and every since Kennedy was shot, the new theme has been, "Ask not what I can do for my country, but what can my country do for me (so i don't have to do much and can kneel during the national anthem)?" A classy bunch!

More and more whiney Republican absurdism regarding voting. ANYTHING to try to suppress the Democratic and/or minority vote. The Republicans have totally controlled the voting procedures and operations in this state for the past 20 years. It the processes and procedures and operations and equipment and personnel and management of voting suck ... then WHY haven't the Republicans fixed the so-called "problems"? The Republicans run EVERYTHING! Likewise, at the national level, the Republicans have been similarly grousing about the processes, operations, personnel, and management of the so-called 'immigration problem! As in Florida ... they've controlled the U.S. House and U.S. Senate in toto for the past eight years ... and they've even had a Republican president (who's totally anti-immigration) for the past two years ... BUT HAVE DONE NOTHING about the so-called 'immigration problems' they're constantly b*tching about! Blow hard but accomplish nothing! To me, this current tribe of cult of Republicans has clearly become anti-democracy and anti-American.

Boy, how misinformed you are, the counties with the problems in South Florida are run by Democratic Supervisor of elections. How can Republicans run voting in counties that are supervised by Democrats, do you know how stupid that sounds?

Just proves what an absolute hack you are to say it is “whiny” to point out Democrat illegalities, and that enforcing the law is vote suppression. Understandable your side is upset when people notice the fraud, since you cannot win legally.

That is the most obsurd thing I have read yet. Omg, what planet do you live on?! Why don't you just move. You are so full of shit !

Don't be a criminal cheat like your friends in Democrat Prison Florida.... Broward & Palm Beach Counties? Every SINGLE ITEM about cheating is happening in Florida. You criminals are trying right now to find a way to remove GOP votes. Please Hillary, Obama, Pelosi, and Schumer..... step up to the mike and admitt that you will do it all to win........ maybe you have even killed for votes........ like Seth Rich shot in the back by the Clinton Mafia.............. you know, the 3 State Arkansas Patrolmen who have done these deeds for the Democrats for several decades?

Nancy, you just libeled every Dem volunteer in the state who has made the phone calls. These are not politicians. They are ordinary every people trying to help their voters get their votes cast. Think about that. And hire a good lawyer.

An armchair lawyer. Funny perhaps you better go study Florida election LAWS

Diane, you are either naive or sinister. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. And remember, the road to hell is paved with so-called "good intentions."

Anyone remember when Democrats refused to count votes from active duty veterans because they arrived late.

I'll just leave this right here. https://davidharrisjr.com/politics/breaking-box-marked-provisional-ballots-found-in-avis-car-rented-by-gillum-donor/

Oops, It seems you are a little late to the dance (as usual for the unemployed reporting ilk from this site). A Federal Judge has ruled that all voters be given until Sat at 5pm to cure incomplete or "questionable" signature ballots. You probably should do your homework before reporting in bad faith, or at least in error...

Fake News. Is this Jim Acosta?

sorry dufus, that is a fact...

Democrat Fraud, committed "right under our 'law abiding' noses", AND intentionally "in our faces"! ! !

Where's your article decrying the emailed votes in Bay county as fraud?

How about the obvious fraud and manipulation of the votes that got George W. Bush elected in 2000?

Let's talk about the Avis rent a car found at Ft Lauderdale airport with boxes of provisional ballots. Guess who the guy worked for. Andrew Gillum

Hey idiot. They were allowed to email due to a hurricane. It was legally allowed due to natural disaster

On October 18th, Scott issued an executive order specifically PROHIBITING VOTING BY E-MAIL OR FAX! Do your homework, Timmy!

Way to debase yourself by name calling. Also: "Elections Supervisor Mark Andersen in heavily Republican Bay County told the Miami Herald earlier on Monday that he allowed about 150 people to cast ballots by email, which is illegal under state law." Source: http://www.fox13news.com/news/politics/florida-county-devastated-by-hurricane-michael-allowed-voting-by-email

Yeah. It had nothing to do with a cat 5 hurricane huh? Comparing Bay to Broward shows your desperation. Typical Democrat

The three trees on my house made it pretty clear there was a hurricane. But please, tell me more.

Registered Republicans outnumber registered Democrats in Bay County by a 2-to-1 margin. About 64,000 to 31,000.

I see the usual far left trolls are busy today. Fed Up and jerry need to go to Venezuela. Robert Warner would have a citizen pay to do what SOE hasn’t. Lovely

I am a citizen, a vet, and a GOP voter, who believes in Lincoln's version of the GOP - not a Trumpster - who believes in one person, one vote, not one dollar, one vote. And you, Charlotte? Lovely.

Robert you're not a GOP voter and never have been. Funny but you dint know anything about Lincoln because we would have kept slavery to save the union. Uneducated fool.

Fake History. Listen to the Gettysberg address and you will easily see Lincoln's view on slavery. Lincoln did want to save the Union at almost all cost, but he knew slavery was wrong and would have to be taken done. He fought very hard to pass the 13th Amendment.

My background is a matter of public record - as is my local party affiliation. Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation speaks for itself.
