Puerto Rico Congresswoman Jenniffer González-Colón Endorses Rick Scott

Puerto Rico Congresswoman Jenniffer González-Colón endorsed Gov. Rick Scott’s bid for U.S. Senate at an event Tuesday in Kissimmee. Congresswoman González-Colón recognized Scott’s continued work supporting Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria and his commitment to the Puerto Rican community.

Jenniffer González-Colón
“Gov. Rick Scott has been a consistent leader, supporter and advocate for the Puerto Rican community and for our families both on the island and here in Florida. He made a commitment to help our community even before Hurricane Maria made landfall and has truly followed through, which is something we need more of in Washington.” said González-Colón, who also endorsed and campaigned for Scott when he ran for governor in 2014.

"They say that hard times will always reveal true friends, and I cannot think of a better friend to the American citizens of Puerto Rico than Gov. Scott," she continued. "Furthermore, as governor, he has been able to turn Florida’s economy around, cutting taxes, creating an environment for small and large businesses to thrive, creating millions of jobs, and reducing regulations. Thus, I am proud to once again announce my endorsement of Gov. Scott, this time for the U.S. Senate, and I look forward to welcoming a dear friend and unconditional supporter of Puerto Rico to D.C.”

Said Scott in response, “It has been an honor to work alongside Congresswoman Jenniffer González-Colón on Puerto Rico’s ongoing recovery and I have been proud to join her in fighting to make sure the families of Puerto Rico who are here in Florida have all the resources they need to succeed. I appreciate Congresswoman González-Colón’s support as we continue to work together on behalf of the Puerto Rican community in Florida and across our nation.”

Congresswoman Jenniffer Gonzalez-Colon is Absolutely Right! Governor Scott is a Statesman and will be a Great Leader in our Nation’s Capital just as he is at home in our native Florida! Election Vinculo para Governor Scott!!!

But ... that WAVE of Puerto Ricans re-locating to Florida ... and ALL registering Democrat... Not happening huh? LOL!

The Governor's record speaks for itself...He has done more for our Puerto Rican Community Stateside and on the Island than anyone else in political office of any party in the entire State. This is about putting forth real solutions in a real crisis. Time for you to acknowledge Republicans are making a difference and that is a real reason to support each other.

Yes, yes, you must be right . . . . . so maybe you should pass this message on to your fellow GOP candidate John Ward who recently declared that newly arrived Puerto Ricans shouldn't be allowed to register and vote In Florida . . . . . . . . . just another bright Republican, like Donald Trump and his blatant racism, making a real difference for Florida and America . . . . . . . . . PATHETIC . . .

That's not what he said. Why don't you try to spin it more? Or are you just that retarded that the words that passed your ears got all jumbled before they bounced of your brain?

Gee, imagine that, the Republican (and past chairwoman of the Puerto Rico Republican Party), supporting our Republican candidate for Senate . . . . . . . . . Stop the Presses, Breaking News! . . . . . . . . the failure to up front note any of this in this "news" article . . . . . . . . . . . . PATHETIC . . . .
