An Outspoken Broward Deputy Dies and It All Goes Quiet; Why?

Conspiracy theories have always turned me off, and I'm not posing one now -- but doesn't anyone else want to know what happened to Broward County Sheriff's Deputy Jason Fitzsimons?

Deputy Fitzsimons, 42, described as "in an excellent state of mind and health,"  called in sick sometime April 1 and then died -- his obituary read "unexpectedly." Apparently he was found on his sofa.

That's pretty much the extent of the death report

I called the Sheriff's Office and asked about him, was promised someone would get back to me, but no one ever did.

The rub about Fitzsimons is, his handiwork was all over social media after Feb. 14, questioning the motive behind the Marjory Stoneman Douglas mass shooting. He believed the tragedy was being used to promote the Democratic Party's gun-control agenda, to gain traction in the upcoming election.

On one Facebook posting, he had included Douglas student-spokesman David Hogg Photoshopped to look like an SS officer, complete with the Nazi salute and swastika, above the caption, “We will March Until We Disarm Every American.” I was trying to reach Fitzsimons because I wanted to write a story on why he was challenging impassioned and grieving students so publicly, and frankly because he seemed like quite a character and great story fodder.

I Beg to Differ

The truth is, I didn't find out the deputy died until I came across something called Memory Hole Blog. James Tracy, the site's creator, wondered same as I do now how come "the complete 'news blackout' of this curious and untimely death?"

Fitzsimons’ Facebook page has since been “scrubbed” of his 2018 posts, says Tracy. They're gone. They include the ones calling the Parkland shooting or its aftermath into question.

So, here are the so-far sketchy circumstances surrounding Deputy Fitzsimons’ death: The official cause has been attributed to cancer, yet this is contradicted by his obittree.com obituary, stating he “died unexpectedly.” Funeral homes and loved ones often like the “died unexpectedly” phrase when they are reluctant to disclose the true cause of death, as in the case of a suicide.

Like me, Tracy finds it all very mysterious because Fitzsimons' obituary paints a picture of a spiritual man who cared about the truth and the U.S. Constitution, a happy-go-lucky individual who "lived life to the fullest," loved spending time with his friends and singing Kenny Chesney-style karaoke.

"If Fitzsimons in fact died of cancer, the onset must have been extremely sudden," writes Tracy. "Neither the obituary nor accompanying memorials reference any struggle with the disease, but instead point to his inspiring presence while expressing astonishment at the abruptness of his passing."

Tracy tries to connect the dots citing Sandy Hook events. This is what he reports:

"Following the December 14, 2012 Sandy Hook School massacre, numerous law enforcement officers with intimate knowledge of the event’s investigation either retired or died unexpectedly. These included Connecticut State Police Major William Podgorski, who passed on, following 'a brief undisclosed illness.'

"As Sandy Hook researcher Tony Mead observed in 2014, 'From Douglas Cottle, who died Sept 29, 2012, at age 62 to Michael Bellmore, who died May 3, 2014 at age 27, more questions than answers seem to arise. The Connecticut State Police commander, the Connecticut State Police commissioner, the Western Connecticut state police Commander as well as the Connecticut state medical examiner have all been eliminated from the story either by retiring or death. What better way to cover up any possibility of ever disclosing the truth? What better way to perpetuate conspiracy theories?'

"Those who received word via Twitter of Fitzsimons’ untimely death have expressed similar doubt and suspicion on the vague and unusual circumstances.

"As is suggested in the aftermath of other recent mass shooting events, Fitzsimons simply may have possessed too much information, was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and/or asked sensitive questions of his peers and superiors on the specifics of the Parkland shooting. It is beyond dispute that the sheriff’s deputy had become uncomfortably outspoken on the February 14 event."

As I said, I'm not into conspiracy theories myself, and maybe there's nothing to any of this. But now that Tracy is wondering out loud why there are more questions than answers about Deputy Fitzsimons, certainly somebody in the Broward Sheriff's Office ought to be forthcoming. Perhaps fellow deputies believe they have to preserve his memory or protect his family. Either way, it's unacceptable. Why should we have to submit a public records request to see the death certificate of a public servant?

Maybe you should review the outstanding record and background of the Chief ME befote spewing your whiny “everyone can be bought crybaby nonsense”. Research someone’s record before you trash them . It would be like me assuming that he had done more in service for this country than you.

The conspiracy nuts don't do "research". I am on this thread right now because a friend posted the article to my FB page. I am RESEARCHING the veracity of his post, not taking it at face value. It is one thing to trash this man's life by assuming he was involved in some nefarious back room murder/suicide gun snatching conspiracy, it is another to demean a professional doctor's to validate your theory. These couch potato instigators should get a life instead of STEALING them.

SPEAK for YOURSELF hotshot!

From a Denver movie theater, Sandy Hook Elementary, to the Parkland H.S. and many other mass shootings, their is something very fishy involving causation, whether you like it or not! But at Parkland "they" went too far trying to connect another atrocity to a social or political agenda. For one thing it would've just taken one person to stop it beforehand and the right person to entice others to look into another parties involvement. Despite pleas beforehand to look into the shooter, something or someone in many different ways (what happened to H.S. security cams during the shooting, etc.) intervened several times and possibly here as well. If true it's making this look even sloppier than the unprecedented chain of events following a mass casualty event by the prearranged cast of upper classmen who couldn't be intimately tied to victims or even involved physically with the shooting, but reacting in concert to the extreme media coverage the day of as if they already had a contract and before the memorials had even commenced. And while controversial politicians like Wasserman-Shultz were on the scene within hours of shooters arrest must explain why the nation reacted with marches all over, including a large organization at the mall in DC. While those in opposition still make up the majority these large crowds were enhanced by going live with nationwide media coverage, much like other staged political events the DNC gain from creating and bringing out into the mainstream, like the Charlottesville Rally were everyone arrived on the same buses and included a death pushing up its importance and significance in making political decisions. Yeah, you make up your own mind based on these and other prior events in recent history from other shooters or maybe likenesses between them. I just wanted to say if this is the level of political power behind organizing even this one event. The coercers will have abilities beyond your imagination to remain hidden and condition not only wrongdoers but also the public. Meaning they will not be compromised by simple investigative journalism or even common law enforcement. Only political action to counter the guilty and cause their emersion from power with elections and holding the newly elected to the promise of uncovering and making those responsible for such perversions of power publically responsible. Hopefully there is not this level of involvement from our government or other governments operating under the radar. And if something is afoot in this tragedy it is uncovered through named sources and not left unknown or unproven while remaining extremely suspicious. Because we all hate those endings and are what give a so-called conspiracy a bad name, not the fact they're impossible or simply entertaining.

What is a conspiracy but a secret plan by a group for ulterior motives. We all know the deep state exists based on evidence leaked here and there so its not true conspiracy "out of the blue" with so many ongoing events. What we should be talking about more is how to stop them. From drug running to assassinations to school shooting to delivering money to enemies to brainwashing the masses - with drugs or subliminal crap - the deep state is for hire and as long as there are thugs and "professionals" seeking gain - money or otherwise - our country remains endangered. Sleeping only hides the reality awhile.

No person died at Parkland, Sandy Hook, Boston, London, San Bernardino, Aurora, Newtown or Orlando. Only about 300 died in the 9/11 false flag attack, not 3,000.

You’re a detractor or an idiot.

This is really easy: If the deputy was a Broward County Medical Examiner case then his autopsy report is public record and can be requested directly from the Medical Examiner's Office. Dr. Craig Mallak, District 17 Medical Examiner's Office (Look it up). If he was not a Medical Examiner's case then he died of natural causes and his treating physician signed his death certificate...end of story. Of course I'm sure the crybaby conspiracy theorists will find some stupid "deep state" reason that an autopsy wasn't performed.

That might cost money, and they're not THAT dedicated to the TRUTH. It is a far better thing to sit on the keyboard and bang out CT's than to admit they actually have no life.

Like YOURSELF?

This death would have had an autopsy for a number of reasons. One being age of deceased, he was law enforcement, and general lack of information about death. Cause of death would also be important because of survivor benefits and life insurance. He was active law enforcement and many states make a mandatory Post for those cases. I just moved to Florida but in Illinois, there would have been a whole lot more info on this. Been on Illinois Police Pension board and retired 29 yrs law enf.

Whatcha doin' Rabbi?

Why wouldn't a healthy 42 year old man have an autopsy? He was found dead on his couch after calling sick, not in a hospital under a physicians care.

Very odd death, cancer would of been known because of treatment s. We have a dark under toe current that is devouring every agenda to MAGA.

Hillary did it

This is in DWS' district. Someone investigating her got whacked earlier.

she did it or the democrats had a lot to do with it

You're a brave soul. Keep up the good fight.

In my opinion, what makes this death suspicious besides the manner of his death is that his 2018 Facebook postings had been scrapped.

His Facebook is public. Check it out. All his 2018 activity is there. Also, he didn't photoshop the picture of David Hoff. He hit the "share" button sharing a post someone else had already posted. Why don't people do their own research before speaking?

Can't see anything other than a few pictures.

Then you aren't looking at the right one. He has two. One of him with his cops uniform. I'm looking at it now. He had an anti-Obama post followed by the infamous David Hogg post.

This officers death is suspicious, but, there are times when otherwise healthy people suddenly get sick and die. My nephew's wife died of a brain infection that hit her and within 24 hours of falling ill was dead. She was in her late 40's.

So all you have is pure conjecture, based on what happened to a friend. The Broward County Sheriff's department investigative methodology?

Stay with this story, Nancy, because there is no longer any doubt at least in my mind that we are beginning the last desperate throes of the fight to save our country.

Think the deep state stops at the federal level?

Anyone who talks about the deep state is mindless conservazombie.

Didn't Hillary mention it all as a vast right-wing conspiracy? Looks like she was right about that, except for the side and all...

that is a mindless statement

If you think there isnt some dark intentions in shadow govts here and around the world even JFK spoke of it and two other Presidents you are CIA dis info or brainless or both
