Ted Yoho Won't Back Paul Ryan, Still Behind Dan Webster

U.S. Rep. Ted Yoho, R-Fla., noted on Wednesday night that he was still behind U.S. Rep. Dan Webster, R-Fla., to replace outgoing U.S. House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, even as U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wisc., was nearing entering the contest. 

“I cannot support Rep. Paul Ryan for speaker,” Yoho announced late on Wednesday. “While I believe he is a good man, I do not agree to with his position on key issues that are vital to getting our nation back on track. I remain convinced more than ever, that Rep. Dan Webster is the best representative to lead the House.”
