Senate President Don Gaetz: Floridians' Guns Are Safe with Me

Florida Senate President Don Gaetz, R-Destin, emphatically told reporters at the Capitol today that no legislation proposing any restrictions on citizens' right to bear arms would have his support in the upcoming session.

"All laws certainly should be looked at, but I don't plan to vote for any repeal of 'Stand Your Ground' or any weakening of the Second Amendment," he said.
