RPOF Plans RNC Delegate Selection in Tampa

The Republican Party of Florida is heading to Tampa next week to select 15 of its presidential delegates, according to an email from the party.

The Party will be holding its spring quarterly meeting at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tampa from May 13-14.

The meeting's agenda will include several different seminars, covering topics like the Top 10 Things Republicans Should Know from the 2016 Legislative session and including a digital engagement seminar presented by Google's U.S. Elections Team.

On Saturday, the Republican Executive Board will meet and take RPOF Chairman Blaise Ingoglia's recommendations for 15 of its 99 delegates representing Florida at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

“With the tremendous gains the Florida GOP has already made this year, our quarterly meeting will serve to continue building our state party as a turnkey organization," said Ingoglia.

The remaining 86 delegates include three automatic delegates (Ingoglia, RNC Co-Chairman Sharon Day, and national committeeman Peter Feaman) and a mix of three representatives from each of Florida's 27 counties and three alternates for each county.
