Ron Paul Takes Aim at Obamacare

Former U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, took aim at President Barack Obamas signature health-care law on Monday. Paul sent an email to supporters of the Campaign for Liberty, which Paul chairs, in which he tackled the law.

Now that the American people are finally getting a taste of Obamacare, the political dynamic over this legislation is completely changing, Paul insisted. In fact, roughly one-dozen Democrat United States senators, worried stiff about their political careers, are beginning to push for reform of the bill.

Its not hard to see why, Paul added. The website issues look to be the least of President Obamas problems. Millions of Americans -- those that havent seen outright cancellations -- are watching their health insurance premiums skyrocket. Businesses are cutting hours and freezing hiring. States that have spent millions setting up exchanges have enrolled only a handful of people.

This all means the fight over Obamacare is not over. But this could be the most dangerous time in the entire laws history, Paul insisted before turning his fire on both Democrats and Republicans. The establishment of both parties is going to want to pass quick fixes to paper over the laws failings, kicking the can down the road until this law becomes even more entrenched.

Paul called for liberty-minded Americans to demand the full repeal of the individual mandate.

If the mandate is repealed, the entire Obamacare law will completely unravel, Paul insisted.
