Ron Paul Calls Hillary Clinton, Jeb Bush 'Statist Political Has-Beens'
Former U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, took aim at former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former Gov. Jeb Bush, R-Fla., at the end of last week.
Paul, a three-time presidential candidate who now chairs the Liberty PAC, came out swinging at both of the possible 2016 presidential candidates in an email to supporters on Friday.
The national media want nothing more than to write our liberty movements obituary, Paul wrote. They know the big government political establishment in both parties is doing everything it can to rid our national political landscape of anyone who dares to stand up for liberty, limited government, and the Constitution. That way they can get back to resurrecting the careers of statist political has-beens Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush ahead of the 2016 presidential primary contests.
Paul insisted his cause was still alive and well, pointing toward congressional hopefuls he is backing in primaries across the country.
