Rick Scott: Time for Jack Latvala to Resign

Gov. Rick Scott weighed in on Wednesday morning after a special master looked at accusations that state Sen. Jack Latvala, R-Clearwater, sexually harassed a Senate aide.
After Special Master Ronald Swanson found probable cause to the accusations against Latvala and opened the door to public corruption charges, Scott called for Latvala to resign.
“Now that the special master report is complete and probable cause has been found, it is time for Senator Latvala to resign,” Scott said. “Resigning is the best thing he can do now for his constituents, colleagues and the state.”
