Rick Scott Names Good Government Transition Team

Incoming Gov. Rick Scott unveiled his Good Government Transition Team on Friday. Scott has charged them with three tasks: finding ways to reduce the government, discovering more effective operations procedures, and providing better service.

"I'm excited to have such a distinguished and experienced team working with me to make good government a top priority in my administration," said Scott.

The Good Government Transition Team includes:

Joyce Elam, Dean, College of Business Administration, Florida International University.

Matt Kimball, Strategic Marketing Manager, AMD.

Steve Knopik, President, Bealls.

Thomas LaJeunesse, former Auditor, New York State Department of Health and New York Department of Social Services.

Brad Richmond, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Darden Restaurants.

David Wilkins, Former Global Government Director, Accenture.

James Farhat, CEO, ACTS.
