Really? Patrick Murphy's Yachting in Nantucket during the Algae Crisis in His District?

In Tuesday night's pitch for cash, Patrick Murphy's campaign hit the nail on the head: "Their ... attack ads against Patrick are only going to get worse," the begging email predicted.

Right on -- I can guarantee it. And I'm sure the Murphy people know better than the Republicans, Patrick isn't going to stop revealing how little there is inside that blue suit of his. He can't help himself.

The latest reveal was the Fourth of July holiday. Does anyone know Patrick Murphy's whereabouts all weekend? A usually prolific tweeter, Murphy and his staff have been radio silent.

Is that you, Patrck?
The Senate Leadership Fund's Ian Prior, who haunts the Democratic U.S. Senate candidate like a Christmas ghost, writes, "Meanwhile, the family yacht 'Cocktails' is currently docked at the Black Dog wharf in Nantucket, Mass., according to the Marine Traffic website."

Late Monday night, someone posted on Twitter he spotted Patrick in Nantucket on Sunday boarding Cocktails; he also tweeted the picture, reproduced on this page, which certainly looks to be Murphy at the Black Dog wharf. What do you think?

"So, if one connects the dots and adds in what we all know about Patrick Murphy and his optics failures," says Prior, "it seems like it’s worth a call to his embattled campaign: Is Patrick partying on his yacht in Nantucket while his home district is under a state of emergency due to a toxic green algae crisis?"

I tried to make that call to Campaign HQ. No luck. Maybe the candidate who says in his latest "breaking news" email he needs $10,000 in the next 48 hours is still in Nantucket?
