Poll Finds More Americans Trust GOP on Gun Control than Democrats

A new national poll finds Americans trust Republicans more than Democrats on gun control.

Rasmussen Reports unveiled a poll of likely voters on Thursday which finds 43 percent of those surveyed say the Republicans can be trusted more on gun control while 41 percent lean toward the Democrats on the issue and 17 percent are undecided.

The poll of 1,000 likely voters was taken from May 23-24 and had a margin of error of +/- 3 percent.
