
Medical Information Technology Company Expanding in Volusia County
Gov. Rick Scott announced on Thursday that DuvaSawko, a medical information technology company, plans to grow in Volusia County, creating 68 new jobs at its headquarters in Ormond Beach and bringing in more than $1.5 million in new investments over the next three years.
We are excited to announce that DuvaSawko has chosen to expand its national headquarters in Ormond Beach, Scott said. This is just one of many national headquarters that are moving or expanding their operations to Florida because our policies for Florida families and businesses to succeed are working. Floridas unemployment rate is below the national average, and weve created more than 330,000 private-sector jobs since December 2010. The new jobs being created by DuvaSawko are just another example that its working in Florida.
