Marco Rubio on 2016: 'Something I'm Considering'

This week, appearing on Univision Americas Zona Politica with Helen Aguirre, a popular radio show in Spanish, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., left the door open to running for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016.

Asked by Aguirre if he was thinking about running for the White House, Rubio said it was on his mind but he also could stay in the Senate or go into the private sector.

Thats a decision that Ill have to make soon next year, Rubio said. My Senate term ends in 2016, so Ill have to decide if I want to have another re-election or aspire to another position or simply return to the private sector. Im not willing to make that decision yet. Its not the right moment, but its something Im considering, but Im going to wait. Im concentrating on the 2014 elections first, which are very important for the country.
