Ken Sukhia Endorsed by Bill Grant
Former U.S. Rep. Bill Grant, R-Fla., best known for his unsuccessful challenge of U.S. Sen. Bob Graham, D-Fla., back in 1992, endorsed former United States Attorney Ken Sukhia for the Republican nomination to challenge U.S. Rep. Gwen Graham, D-Fla., the daughter of his old foe.
“I’ve known Ken a long time and he’s a rare breed – a genuinely decent man, who’s not afraid to fight for the values that made our country great,” said Grant. “We’re at a pivotal time in our Nation’s history and it’s essential we elect leaders who stay true to our Constitution, rely on God’s providence and return our country to it’s greatness both at home and abroad. Ken Sukhia is the person who can do that for us here in North Florida.”
“I am honored to have Congressman Grant’s support and I thank him for his trust,"Sukhia said. “I started this campaign just two weeks ago, because like many people, I’m frustrated with the lack of leadership in Washington. The halls of our nation’s capitol are filled with broken promises, weak leadership, and a go along to get along mentality. We the people deserve better. I’m running for Congress because I have a proven record of strong, effective leadership and fighting over my lifetime for the conservative principles we hold dear.”
