Herald Rips Shalala, Mucarsel-Powell for Cozying Up to Maduro and Castro Sympathizer Danny Glover

"What were they thinking?" asks Camille Gallo, regional press secretary of the National Republican Congressional Committee.

South Florida Congresswomen Donna Shalala and Debbie Mucarsel-Powell were ripped apart Wednesday by the Miami Herald for posing in a picture with known Maduro and Castro sympathizer, Danny Glover.

"Last March, Glover visited Nicolás Maduro while the strongman was in the process of destroying the country’s democratic institutions, and Maduro milked it for all the publicity it was worth, publishing on social media and government-controlled outlets propagandistic photos of their chummy times," wrote the Herald. ...

" ... the photo is a shocker from two congresswomen working on legislation to keep the Venezuelan regime from obtaining tear gas with which to attack its people and to obtain the precious Temporary Protected Status for fleeing Venezuelans in this country. ...  But it seems that in the presence of a Hollywood star, we develop amnesia."

Definitely not a good look for Democrats Shalala and Mucarsel-Powell. These two represent thousands of Cuban and Venezuelan exiles who have suffered under these violent regimes. Have a look at the Herald story here.

Frank, typical response from a liberal trying to cover up for two folks who are posing with Glove who is in fact a Maduro sympathizer by referring to President Trump who is in the process of trying to negotiate an agreement that has plagued this country for close to 30 years. Clinton, Bush ans Obama sent the communist dictator millions and got exactly zip. So your analogy is B.S. Have a wonderful day Snowflake!!. Oh by the way when was the last missile test my friend?.

Oh, by the way it's "and" . . . . . and when did they make the last new nuke and stop starving and imprisoning hundreds of thousands of their own people . . . . . . . denial . . . . . . . . always . . . . . . . . . . . PATHETIC . . . .

They are united in their hate for America and normal humans.

I think we just read above who's united in their hatred of the freedoms guaranteed through our Constitution (i.e. by being the antithesis of their nom de guerre) and acting out here more than a little delusional . . . . . . . . . . . PATHETIC . . . .

And I have photos of Donald Trump shaking hands and smiling with brutal murdering dictator Kim Jong Un with a North Korean flag in the background (and many other such photos with mafia figures, criminals, porn stars, etc., both pre and during his presidency) . . . . . . . so what? . . . . . . what matters is the truth of their words and actions . . . . . . recent Venezuela statements of both --> REP. SHALALA: “I urge Maduro to respect the right to peaceful protest. To the people of Venezuela who are demanding freedom and a return to democracy, I want you to know that you have a friend and ally in Miami – estamos con ustedes. Along with my South Florida colleagues in the House of Representatives, we will continue to stand with you and call out Maduro and his dictatorial, mafia state. His authoritarian rule has made people poorer, hungrier, sicker, and less free.” . . . . . . . . REP MUCARSEL-POWELL: “I have always joined the millions of Venezuelans in recognizing the National Assembly as the only legitimate governing institution in Venezuela and calling for new elections. I am hopeful that this step of invoking the country’s constitution to declare Maduro an illegitimate president and have interim President Juan Guaidó legitimately fill the vacancy will bring Venezuela closer to restoring stability and democracy to their country. The Venezuelan people – those who have remained in the country as well as those who have fled – have suffered tremendously, and Maduro can no longer lead the country. Estamos con ustedes.” . . . . . . . . . . "what were they thinking", indeed . . . . . . . . . not "Cozying Up to Maduro and Castro" as implied in this article . . . . . . . . . . . . . . what must we likewise conclude then about all those questionable photos and words of Trump . . . . . . . . . . . trying to manufacture division where there isn't any with half-truths and innuendos . . . . . . PATHETIC . . . .
