Florida Retailers Back Pam Bondi for AG
On Tuesday, the Florida Retail Federation PAC (FRFPAC) announced it was backing former Assistant State Attorney Pam Bondi, the Republican candidate to be Floridas next attorney general, over Democratic candidate Sen. Dan Gelber of Miami Beach.
The Florida Retail Federation Political Action Committee is pleased to endorse your candidacy for attorney general," wrote FRFPAC Chairman Rick McAllister to Bondi. "Your experience and history in the state's attorney's office will strengthen the important role of attorney general in safeguarding the state of Florida and attracting new capital and jobs in a time when that is 'job one'."
The Florida Retail Federation PAC represents many industries and employers who help drive our economy and keep Floridians with jobs, and I am honored to have their endorsement," said Bondi. "As attorney general, I will protect our consumers and citizens; I will stand up for lower taxes, less government and job-creating measures; and I will fight Obama's unconstitutional health-care mandate, which will have a devastating impact on our small businesses and Floridas economy."
