Florida Optometric Association Sees a Winner in Pam Bondi

The Florida Optometric Association apparently had its eyes on the attorney generals race -- the group announced on Tuesday that they were backing Republican candidate Pam Bondi for the position over Democratic rival Sen. Dan Gelber of Miami Beach.

"As attorney general, my top priority will be the safety, jobs and constitutional rights of Floridians, and I am proud to have the support of the Florida Optometric Association," said Bondi. "I will be ready on day one to continue to stand up for our states doctors who are deeply concerned about the availability ofquality health care for Florida's patients."
