Florida Establishments Make National Rankings of Top Wine Restaurants

Five restaurants in Florida made Wine Enthusiast’s top 100 wine restaurants in the nation.  

Miami restaurants dba Moderne and newcomer Alter made the cut. So did Bern’s Steak House in Tampa (where your humble blogger has a reservation this Independence Day weekend) and Steak 954 in Fort Lauderdale. 

Walt Disney World also produced a contender in Jiko (another favorite of your humble blogger) which is in the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Jiko boasts one of the finest African wine lists in the Western Hemisphere and, as Wine Enthusiast rightfully notes, showcases the “improved quality and diversity of South African wines.”
