Allen West Heads to New Hampshire as 2016 Talk Grows Louder

Back in May, former Congressman Allen West left the door open to running for the presidency in 2016. A favorite of conservatives and the tea party movement, West offered a little more cause this week for speculating that he intends to shoot for the White House.

On Monday, WMUR in New Hampshire reported that West will be up in the Granite State in August to speak to Republicans in Nashua. New Hampshire is the first state to hold presidential primaries.

While its hard to imagine that West can win the Republican nomination, it is easy to see how he could help shape the race if he runs. In the meantime, this will keep West in the 2016 conversation for a few more weeks.
