Adam Putnam Teams With Tax Collectors on Concealed Weapons Permits

Florida Agriculture Commissioner Adam  Putnam announced on Monday that Floridians will be able to apply and renew their applications for concealed weapons permits at participating tax collectors’ offices across the Sunshine State.

Putnam joined St. Johns County Tax Collector Dennis Hollingsworth in St. Augustine to make the announcement on Monday.

“We’re making both the application and renewal process for concealed weapon licenses even more convenient for Floridians,” Putnam said. “I thank all of our partnering tax collectors for their willingness to extend our services at their locations throughout the state.”

The following 13 tax collectors will join the Department of Agriculture and take part in speeding up the process for concealed weapon applications and renewals: Walton, Hillsborough, Martin, St. Johns, Brevard, Marion, Lee, Pinellas, Pasco, Highlands, Okaloosa, Indian River and Nassau.
