
2 Florida Projects among Corps of Engineers' 10 Highest-Funded for 2017

Here is a list of the 10 highest-funded ongoing construction projects in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' FY 2017 Budget:
Olmsted Locks and Dam, Ill. and Kent. ($225 million);
South Florida Ecosystem Restoration (Everglades), Fla. ($106 million);
Columbia River Fish Mitigation, Wash., Ore., and Idaho ($84 million);
Isabella Lake, Calif. dam safety ($70.5 million);
Lower Mississippi River Mainstem, La. ($64.3 million);
Poplar Island, Md. ($62.3 million);
East Branch Clarion River Lake, Penn. ($56.3 million);
Herbert Hoover Dike seepage control, Central Fla. ($49.5 million);
Savannah Harbor Expansion, Ga. ($42.7 million); and
Center Hill Lake, Tenn. ($40 million).
